Hanu Day Spa is owned and operated by partners in life and business – Jamie and Kathy. Combining their talents and passions they have created a haven for well-being on their Margaret River property which reflects their interests in the healing arts. Jamie designed and built the premises himself (thanks to his former life as a stone mason/bricklayer!).
Both are practicing therapists and have studied many different modalities and have travelled far and wide to seek out their training. Jamie has a diploma in Shiatsu, has recently studied authentic Lapau ‘au massage in Hawaii and holds an instructors certificate in Tai Chi. Kathy holds a Diploma in Remedial Massage, is a member of AAMT (Assoc Australian Massage Therapists) and teaches yoga (see ‘Yoga at Hanu’ page).

Hanu Day Spa was recently chosen by Spa Life magazine (summer 2007 edition) as WA’s premier regional ‘affordable’ day spa experience. This came as welcome recognition after many years of work in a highly competitive and burgeoning industry.
